The Department of Biology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) researches on new drug target prediction models aiming for an improved treatment outcome in cancer patients.
For now they offer a PhD Position in Computational Biology, thus giving the chance of participating in the process of computer model development for efficient drug target prediction. Applicants should have a master’s degree in Bioinformatics as well as excellent programming and bioinformatics analysis skills and a high interest in biological systems modelling.
The apointed duration of the position is 3 years with the possibility of 1 year extension with 25% teaching duties in agreement.
