The Working Group “Biomedical Informatics” of the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS) organizes a systems medicine workshop at the University Oldenburg, Germany, on September 18, 2017.
The workshop will be part of the theme systems medicine at the GMDS conference. It addresses a wide audience from the areas of bioinformatics, medical informatics, and systems biology to biostatistics as well as epidemiology. Furthermore, it should give an overview of the field and in particular address the overlaps as well as interfaces between all the different research areas and scientific communities being active in systems medicine research.
The sessions of this theme will contain a keynote, a session of contributed talks, the workshop about “Methods in Systems Medicine” and a round table discussion, which will take place with experts from the fields systems medicine and medical bioinformatics as well as leading figures of the GMDS.
