The International Conference on Systems Biology of Human Disease (SBHD) will take place from May 27 – 29, 2019 in Berlin, Germany. The conference has a focus on systems biology approaches for the understanding, diagnosis, and therapy of human diseases.
The de:NBI training course “Tools for Systems biology modeling and data exchange: COPASI, CellNetAnalyzer, SABIO-RK, FAIRDOMHub/SEEK” will take place from March 18 – 20 in Heidelberg, Germany. During this 3-day course, attendees will learn basic techniques for modeling of biochemical networks including data access and storage due to the FAIR principles.
Mathematical models of cellular pathways are essential tools in systems biology and systems medicine. They contribute to an understanding of the structure and dynamics of cellular processes far beyond their isolated parts, as well as the prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of diseases.
The summer school will take place from May 20 – 24, 2019 in Castle Ringberg, Germany, and will provide in-depth training of early-stage researchers to gain a cross-disciplinary knowledge within the fields of multiparametric imaging, histopathology, liquid biopsy, imaging omics, and systems medicine.
The de.NBI training course “Galaxy for linking bisulfite sequencing with RNA sequencing” will take place from March 06 – 08, 2019 in Rostock, Germany and introduces the Galaxy framework. The course will showcase its tools for data handling and preprocessing, differential gene expression analysis, bisulfite sequencing analysis, and Oxford Nanopore data exploration and usage.
